Wireless access to the internet and MWN

As a student or employee at Munich University of Applied Sciences, you have access to the “The Munich Scientific Network” (MWN), a network that provides data communication between various universities and institutions in and around Munich. This network also allows you to access the internet via Wi-Fi, nearly everywhere on the Munich University of Applied Sciences campus. Wi-Fi (WLAN) access is available wherever the Wi-Fi symbol is displayed.



You can access the internet via the following:


 

Access via eduroam (SSID: eduroam) >
You can access the internet via Wi-Fi using eduroam access authorisation if this is provided by your home institution or if you have a user account with Munich University of Applied Sciences. weiter
Access via VPN (SSID: lrz) >
Once the VPN Client has been installed, your central user account with Munich University of Applied Sciences provides you with access to the internet and use of internal university services. weiter
